To all my lovely readers, I apologise if you have read the awful messages which have appeared from pimps and others selling favours from girls! I keep banning them but they keep coming back!

I'm so sorry I haven't replied before - I only returned to your website last evening when I was telling some visitors of our meeting in Tenerife as I have loaned Strands of Gold to them to read. I'm so sorry to hear about your heart attack and sincerely hope that you are well recovered now. You have the next holiday with your friend to look forward to and the summer here first. Very best wishes Sue X

I'm so glads you enjoyed the books Sue. I'm sorry to be late in replying, but I had a heart attack on 13th March and the world changed! I am OK now and am recovering well. It wasn't a very big one thank goodness. I often think back to Tenerife, and have booked next January at the H10 Tenerife |Playa, and a friend has asked to come with me, so I may see you there again! Summer well, and lots of good luck to you! Helen XX

Hi Laura I thought I would let you know how much I enjoyed reading your two books that you sent me particularly The Chainmakers which was my favourite. Somehow I always thought it would be after you described to me how the idea came from your own family history. Strands of Gold was an interesting story too but a lot more troublesome - poor girl what she went through! I hope you are keeping well and the writing productive. I miss the warmth of Tenerife and am already thinking of returning next year! Love and best wishes from Sue x :)

Hi Laura, As you can see I found your page so I hope this works and you will get my message. It was so lovely to meet you in Puerto de la Cruz and I enjoyed your company and chats. My journey home was fine and it was dry when I got here although rather chilly!!! Had a day of catching up today and also went to NC Film Club "Winter Warmer" this afternoon for a screening of "Room with a View" my all-time favourite film. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and find some more company to enjoy your dinners with. Best wishes from Sue

Hello Di, Thank you so much for the message. It is so good to have an actual Aussie read my books! I loved writing Strands and have visited and stayed in Kalgoorlie and the area, as well as other parts of OZ.
Many thanks again,
Helen. :)
